Slykstah's percussive flow contains countless punchlines, puns and double entendres. Bouncing between deeply introspective ballads to raunchy, hard-hitting slaps, his unique approach is both loose yet deliberate. Heavily influenced by West Coast rap with hyphy roots and an alternative flair, Slykstah’s style mixes fast tongue-twisters with slower, catchy melodies. His lyrics are laced with social commentary from the point of view of a black man carving out his destiny in contemporary America. His Graffiti is bold, bright and based in classic funk with his own signature flair. With spray paint, he blends the creative elements to spell out the name of your establishment, loved one, or message of your choice.
